The Editorial CDS group of Plateau State NYSC has earlier today, 27th March, 2024 paid a visit to Simgi Girls Initiative Orphanage home.
Addressing the children, the CDS president who was represented by Miss Joy Jeremiah said the purpose of the visit is to teach them valuable vocational skills, with a focus on soap making.
She emphasized the significance of exposing the children to vocational skills, which according to her, learning the skills will play a crucial role in nurturing the potential of the orphaned children, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to thrive and succeed in life.
The orphanage children were taught how to make liquid soap and they were encouraged to put the learned skills to practice
