PHARM. JESSE CHIDAMA MOVEMENT DISTRIBUTES FACE MASKS IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS WITHIN MUBI




 


Ealier today, Comr.  Usaku Joseph Matapa and Comr. Ldutsi  Elam Anthony under the auspices of Comr Samson Y Wabu,  distributed  600 reuseable  face masks to the National  Association  of Kilba Students (NAKS) and  (GOMSU)  across tertiary institution located within  Mubi.  inclusive  were Adamawa State University,  The Federal Polytechnic  and The College of Health Technology. 

Face masks having been considered one of the topmost preventive measures in curbing  the spread of COVID 19, which has been made compulsory for all staff and students  of all academic  institutions,  is a needful and timely intervention. 

Thus,  Comr Matapa and Comr Elam in the spirit of philantropism  as that of pharm.  Jesse Chidama,  made provision of  600 reuseable  face masks for students in order  to relieve them from the cost of purchasing  this mask as they have become mandatory  in all institutions. And also created awareness on the procedures  of safe guarding  themselves, From the pandemic,  they are also encouraged all students to abide with all the covid-19 protocols. 

hey also emphasized on the fact that,  the use of this masks alone is not sufficient to provide the adequate level of protection and other equally relevant measures should be adhered to.
