The Ganye Chiefdom Christian Youth Forum unequivocally condemns the recent verbal attacks against our revered leader, elder statesman, and political pillar, Alh. Sadiq Mohammed, Walin Ganye.
Walin Ganye is not just a political leader; he is an institution whose leadership has united people across religious, ethnic, and political divides. Throughout his public life, he has remained a symbol of peace, tolerance, justice, and selfless service. His closest allies and supporters cut across all tribes and faiths, reflecting his unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of Ganye Chiefdom.
Those attempting to score cheap political points by dragging the name of Walin Ganye into needless controversy have misjudged the mood of the people. The people of Ganye know their leaders, and they know those who have consistently stood for the development, peace, and political advancement of the Chiefdom.
On the issue of Hon. Bala Kalu's appointment, every qualified indigene of Ganye has the constitutional right to serve. Leadership should be judged by competence, performance, and impact—not by political propaganda. His record of service speaks for itself, and the people are the ultimate judges of performance.
As the political atmosphere ahead of the 2027 elections continues to gather momentum, we call on all political stakeholders to embrace issue-based campaigns instead of politics of personal attacks and character assassination. Ganye Chiefdom will never be intimidated into abandoning leaders who have devoted their lives to its growth and development.
We therefore urge Alh. Ahmed Tijjani Galadima to prevail on his supporters to uphold civility and political maturity. Respect for elders and established leaders is essential for sustaining the unity and confidence of the people.
Our message is simple and unmistakable: Walin Ganye remains the undisputed political compass and respected elder of Ganye Chiefdom. His voice carries the hopes of the people, his leadership inspires confidence, and his legacy cannot be erased by political noise. The people of Ganye stand united, resolute, and unwavering in solidarity with him today and always.
Long Live Ganye Chiefdom.
Long Live Adamawa State.
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Signed: Ganye Chiefdom Christian Youth Forum.
